ROB RYAN

Papercut & Screenprint Artist

Ryan specialised in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art in London. He also creates detailed papercuts often using whimsical figures and writing in his work, which are described as honest, sometimes humorous and sentimental.

Ryan's work was exhibited at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in 2010 and I was able to appreciate the small detail that was designed into the work to portray a story. 

I brought the book that went along side the exhibition You Can Still Do A Lot With A Small Brain.

His work is adapted into other mediums such as ceramics, textiles and even jewellery.
